Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the environmental services team across our retirement community. You will be a hands‑on leader, guiding housekeeping and maintenance, while partnering with the Executive Director to ensure a safe, comfortable residence.

This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, reliability, and sustainable practices, with opportunities for career growth. A trades license or certified facility management program is preferred, and experience in a

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in environmental services or maintenance
• Experience leading a team, preferably in a unionized environment
• Knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, emergency systems
• Experience in housekeeping, laundry and maintenance preferred
• PPE and IPAC protocol knowledge
• FM certification or trades license required
• JHSC certification or willing to obtain
• Working at heights training or willing to obtain
• Good computer skills
• Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental services and maintenance teams to support residents
• Perform hands-on tasks as needed to maintain facilities
• Proactively manage maintenance, reliability and equipment performance
• Collaborate with Executive Director and leadership team to maximize resident satisfaction
• Implement sustainable practices aligned with safety and brand standards
• Ensure building safety and compliance to policies and regulations
