Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef for Court at Laurelwood Retirement Living. You will lead the culinary team, craft menus, and oversee kitchen operations to deliver nutritious, diverse, and visually appealing meals that enhance resident well-being.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure high food quality, safety and service, with a hands-on role and a focus on resident satisfaction. Relocation may apply and a supportive, inclusive culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or diploma in culinary arts with a food safety certification.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in retirement living, hospitality or related settings.
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a culinary team and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the culinary team and oversee kitchen operations with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure every dish is fresh, tasty, and visually plated with warm service.
• Solicit resident feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.
• Evaluate performance and production quality and implement necessary adjustments.
• Spend at least 50% of time actively participating in food preparation and operations.
• Maintain records and documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
