Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to guide the environmental services team, perform hands-on tasks as needed, and ensure reliable maintenance and safety across the retirement residence. You will work with executive leadership to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, sustainability practices, and alignment with the Cogir brand, while supporting a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental services and/or maintenance, preferably in seniors living.
• Experience leading a team, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and emergency systems.
• Must provide Vulnerable Sector Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental services team and provide maintenance support for residents.
• Proactively maintain, repair and optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure safety and a high-quality living environment for residents; collaborate with leadership.
