Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Richmond Hill is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to lead Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and high-quality resident environments.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage budgets, coordinate teams, uphold infection control standards, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a welcoming, respectful culture for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires managerial or supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets and resources.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safety standards, and compliance.
• Experience leading housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations in care/healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance and risk management programs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance teams for efficient operations and safety.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and life safety systems; coordinate external vendors.
• Manage departmental budgets, procurements, and staff scheduling; mentor team members.
