Cogir Senior Living in Mississauga is seeking a Culinary Manager to lead our culinary and dining department, recruit and guide a team of chefs and service professionals, and ensure exceptional resident dining experiences with diverse menus and premium ingredients.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director, National Director and Regional Culinary Managers to translate vision into action, manage finances, and uphold service excellence in a residency setting.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification is an asset.
• Several years of experience as a professional chef with supervisory responsibilities.
• Post-secondary education in culinary management or related field.
• Valid Food Safety/Food Handler's Certification.
• Smart Serve Certification or provincial equivalent.
• Budgeting, cost control, inventory management experience.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Willingness to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the culinary and dining department.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of culinary and service professionals.
• Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Executive Director, National Director, and Regional Managers to implement culinary vision.
• Deliver an exceptional dining experience with diverse menus and premium ingredients.
