Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Culinary Manager to lead the dining and culinary operations for our retirement residence. You will recruit, train, and guide a team of culinary and service professionals, delivering an exceptional dining experience with focus on quality, variety, and presentation.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director and regional teams to align menus, costs, and resident satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Culinary leadership experience in retirement living is preferred.
• Red Seal Certification is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in culinary management or related field is desirable.
• Food Safety Certification and Smart Serve Certification are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and oversee culinary and service teams.
• Lead cost-efficient operations with budgeting and cost control.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and Regional/National culinary teams.
• Develop diverse menus with premium ingredients and presentation.
• Ensure high resident satisfaction with dining experiences.
• Monitor compliance with food safety and standards.
