Otter Co-op is seeking a Full-Time Senior Liquor Store Associate at Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perch in Summerland, BC. Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, you will handle transactions, stock, and customer service while promoting sales and upholding core values.

The role requires Serving it Right, WSET certifications, and a commitment to a SAFE working environment with open availability for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience preferred.
• Serving it Right license required.
• WSET 1 accreditation must be obtained within first year of employment.
• WSET 2 accreditation preferred.
• Must be over 19 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds and returns, activate gift cards.
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at end of shift per procedures.
• Stock, face and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check and store deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Use product knowledge to promote sales.
• Support team in upholding Integrity, Community and Excellence.

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Senior Liquor Store Associatesat our Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perchlocated in Summerland, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner

Who you are:

• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full8 hourshift
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• WSET 2 minimum accreditation is preferred
• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perch, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
