Otter Co-op in Chilliwack, BC is hiring a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor at City Gate. You will deliver courteous service, process transactions, and keep stock organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires Serving It Right, 19+ age, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll use product knowledge to promote sales and support deliveries while upholding safety and company values.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience preferred.
• Serving It Right license required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• WSET 1 accreditation to be obtained within the first year.
• Must be 19+ years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Ensure drawer balanced at end of shift.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales.
• Support team in living the values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Otter Co-op is now hiring for a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate at our Angry Otter Liquor @ City Gate located in Chilliwack, BC.

What you’ll do:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include evenings and weekends
• This position is based out of the City GateLiquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
