Otter Co-op is seeking a Full-Time Senior Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perch in Summerland, BC. You will deliver friendly service, ring up sales, handle returns, balance the till, stock shelves, and receive deliveries in a fast-paced setting.

Flexibility with shifts is required. A Serving It Right license is essential; WSET 1 is preferred. Join a safety‑minded, member‑owned team focused on service and community.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is required.
• Serving It Right license is required.
• WSET certifications are preferred and valued.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards.
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves.
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales.
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Senior Liquor Store Associates at our Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perch located in Summerland, BC.

What you’ll do:

Who you are:

Youare looking for a career inRetail Store Operations as well as:

• Liquor retail experience is preferred
• Serving it Right license is required
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Problem solver and quick learner
• WSET 1 minimum accreditation is required to be obtained within the first year of employment
• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8 hour shift
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• WSET 2 minimum accreditation is preferred
• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Angry Otter Liquor @ Peacock's Perch, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
