Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in training of new employees and development of existing employees.
• Inspect cleanliness of kitchen and ensure compliance with health-related legislation and requirements.
• Ensure open/close duties are completed to standard by all kitchen employees.
• Assist in ordering and receiving.
• Inventories and manages line food par stocks.
• Assist in menu development.
• Assist in customer/guest service scores through driving programs such as table checks and service recovery.
• Prepare meals in accordance with recipes and minimize waste.
• Report unsafe or malfunctioning equipment and follow up for maintenance.
• Provide a professional image through appearance and conduct.
