Job summary

WSP in Ontario is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Land Development to lead high-impact projects across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors, guiding multidisciplinary teams and building trusted client relationships.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, manage budgets and schedules, and advance growth through proposals and client engagement, with hybrid work options and home offices in Ottawa, Kingston, or Cornwall.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in land development or municipal engineering.
• 2+ years in a project management role.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of Ontario land development and municipal approvals processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a client-focused mindset.
• P.Eng. Ontario designation, or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary land development and municipal engineering projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
• Act as the primary client liaison, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, schedules, resources, and risk management.
• Drive business development through proposals, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Guide teams through municipal and agency approvals processes, leveraging established stakeholder relationships.
• Mentor and develop project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
• Uphold quality, safety, and performance standards while delivering sustainable, community-focused solutions.
