Job summary

WSP in Canada is hiring a Senior Project Manager – Land Development in Edmonton to lead large residential, industrial and mixed‑use projects from concept through construction. You’ll drive design, approvals and delivery while ensuring sustainability and long‑term success.

As a senior leader, you’ll mentor engineers and designers, manage budgets, engage with developers and municipalities, and deliver trusted partnerships that shape communities across Alberta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with professional registration eligibility.
• 10+ years of progressive land development and municipal infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency with design tools and regulatory standards applicable to Alberta.
• PMP certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project management lifecycle for land development and infrastructure.
• Deliver engineering solutions for subdivisions, stormwater, roads, and servicing.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage client relationships with developers, municipalities and agencies.
• Oversee approvals, reports, drawings, and environmental documentation.
• Steward project budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and contracts.
• Mentor junior staff and support growth within the team.
• Champion sustainable design and green infrastructure initiatives.
