Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Land Development to lead high‑impact municipal and land development projects across Ontario, with hybrid work options from Hamilton or St. Catharines.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, build strong client relationships, guide multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to growth while upholding quality and safety standards in every delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of land development or municipal engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in a project management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-focused mindset.
• P.Eng designation in Ontario or eligible; PMP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary land development and municipal projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
• Serve as primary client liaison, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk management.
• Drive business development through proposals, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Mentor teams and ensure quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Navigate municipal and agency approvals leveraging stakeholders relationships.
