Job summary

WSP Canada is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead land development initiatives across Ontario, guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction and securing municipal approvals.

You will own client relationships, manage scope, budgets, and schedules, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with transportation, environmental, geotechnical, and planning disciplines to deliver holistic solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in land development engineering.
• P.Eng in Ontario and extensive engagement with municipalities and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario land development and approvals landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver land development projects from concept through construction.
• Own client relationships and act as the primary technical and design contact.
• Drive scope, budgets, schedules, resourcing, and risk management.
• Navigate municipal and agency approvals with Ontario processes and relationships.
• Champion quality assurance across design outputs and regulatory compliance.
• Support proposals, fee estimates, and pursuit strategies.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
