Job summary

Citigroup in Mississauga, Canada seeks an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to guide design and delivery of enterprise web applications. You will own initiatives from inception to production, mentor developers, and promote robust patterns.

Requires 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ in lead roles, strong Java, Spring, REST/microservices, Oracle SQL, and caching tech, plus leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and application development experience.
• 5+ years in Technical Lead capacity.
• Deep knowledge of core Java: multi-threading, memory management and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience.
• Strong RESTful API design, microservices architecture and security risk awareness.
• Proficient with Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, indexing and schema design.
• Experience with Hazelcast or Redis for caching and session management.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of business initiatives from inception to production.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define scope and effort.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable, secure designs.
• Establish coding, testing, debugging, and deployment standards.
• Define and promote robust architectural patterns for enterprise apps.
• Provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure compliance and risk awareness in line with firm policies.
