Job summary

CDW Canada is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to independently manage medium-to-large, complex IT engagements from inception to completion.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop communications plans, monitor scope, budget, and schedule, and ensure delivery with quality. The role requires eight+ years in IT program management, PMP or equivalent credentials, and experience across enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, and security projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science required.
• PMP or equivalent certification (CSM) preferred.
• 8+ years progressive IT PM/IT services management experience.
• 4+ years managing Enterprise IT Infra/Cloud/Security projects.
• Experience as an Enterprise IT consultant for an OEM or VAR.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage medium-to-large sized complex project.
• Develop project communications plan and execute it utilizing existing templates as a baseline.
• Establish, monitor/control, adjust, and communicate tasks and schedule to project team.
• Ensure scope is delivered in full and with quality throughout the project life cycle.
• Assume responsibility for project profitability and monitor/control, interpret, and communicate project budget.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate project risks/ issues and lead in bringing to resolution.
• Lead and facilitate internal/ external meetings, adapting communication style to fit audience needs.
• Assist with creation of RFPs/ proposals responses related to hardware, software, and services.
• Assist with other pre-sales initiatives as required.
