Job summary

AltaLink is seeking a Manager, IS Program Delivery to lead large, complex S&IS programs from Calgary. You will manage multiple IT projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report to the Director, S&IS Capital Project Delivery.

The role demands strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement across IT and business units. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of PM experience, PMP certification, and proven ability to drive change in regulated environments.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in several areas of IT operations with a focus on databases, programming, web development and/or integration.
Minimum of 15+ years of proven project management experience managing complex and cross-functional projects.
PMI PMP certification or equivalent certification or significant project management experience in lieu.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple IT projects from $5M and higher from initiation to closing.
Oversee programs of projects ensuring alignment of scope, schedule and budget.
Control cost, quality, schedule, scope and change management to meet objectives.
Communicate with sponsors, stakeholders and management on status and risks.
Develop project documentation per IT PM Framework, SDLC and audits.
