Canada Life is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to join the Information Security and Technology Risk portfolio. The role focuses on delivering security-centric technology solutions, maturing risk capabilities, and partnering with business units to enhance customer experience.

You will translate business needs into actionable technology, lead stakeholder engagements, and mentor peers while championing best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must-have experience with Information Security or Technology Risk projects.
• 5–10 years of experience as a business process and/or systems analyst.
• Experience with process maps, workflows, and business requirements.
• Familiar with use cases, user stories, and business rules.
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into actionable technology solutions and align with security and risk objectives.
• Lead stakeholder engagements including meetings, workshops, and reviews.
• Document current state processes and define future state with identified gaps.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to the analyst community.
