Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Toronto to connect business needs with technology solutions across product, engineering, architecture, and QA teams. You will translate requirements into clear technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while guiding delivery in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with partners across insurance and investment capabilities, focusing on accuracy, compliance, and effective delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in business systems analysis or related technology role.
Experience translating business and technical needs into actionable solutions.
Strong analytical, technical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technology partners to understand objectives and assess impacts across systems and processes.
Translate high-level designs into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
Assess upstream, downstream, integration, and system impacts to ensure alignment with business objectives and risks.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation while validating outputs for accuracy and compliance.
Support solution design and implementation with product, engineering, architecture, quality engineering, and other analysts.
