Canada Life is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to strengthen our Information Security and Technology Risk portfolio in Winnipeg. You will translate business needs into secure technology solutions, lead stakeholder engagements, and ensure traceable, actionable requirements across projects.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to mature risk capabilities, drive adoption of security services, and mentor peers in a fast‑paced, virtual and on‑site environment.

Qualifications

• Must-have experience in Information Security or Technology Risk projects (GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, Data Protection).
• 5–10 years as a business process or systems analyst with requirements elicitation, process analysis, and gap analysis.
• Experience with Technology GRC platforms and security controls (e.g., Entra ID, CyberArk, Okta, Purview).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into actionable technology solutions aligned with security and risk objectives.
• Lead elicitation of stakeholder needs across processes, systems, and service management.
• Ensure clear, actionable requirements for design and build; maintain traceability across lifecycle.
• Lead stakeholder engagements: meetings, workshops, reviews; manage dependencies.
• Document current/future state processes; identify gaps and impacts of tech implementations.
• Mentor peers and contribute to analyst community; promote best practices.
