Salary Grade: 214 Annual base salary: $101,331.63

Job Summary

Provide business analysis expertise for a range of medium to large scale ITC and WSIB projects. Inform organizational strategic direction and initiatives by providing business analysis expertise for business transformation, re-engineering, and business improvement initiatives. Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Lead and conduct business analysis, business process modelling, redesign, and systems consulting services related to IT systems development and application maintenance and support.
  2. Lead complex enterprise-wide business and data analysis to evaluate business, support planning, and decision-making, engaging with external partners such as Gartner.
  3. Facilitate workshops to elicit, review, and confirm business requirements, process reengineering, data workflows, and user interface design.
  4. Translate business requirements into documentation, identify solutions, and ensure they meet all business needs.
  5. Prepare project proposals, including financial analysis and cost/benefit studies.
  6. Use analysis techniques to identify improvements within business processes and opportunities for program enhancement.
  7. Partner with management on project initiation to improve efficiency and performance.

Additional responsibilities include leading design sessions, developing business cases, supporting project planning, providing guidance to project teams, developing specifications, and participating in procurement processes.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in business analysis, process re-engineering, and transformation initiatives.
