Job summary

Farber, one of Canada’s leading debt solution providers, is hiring a Senior Insolvency Advisor to speak with potential clients and guide them through bankruptcy or consumer proposal options. You’ll handle live transfers, assess cases, and deliver compassionate, solution-focused guidance.

Flexibility to work during and outside standard hours is required. You will be part of the Complex Files Team, working with professionals to ensure successful enrollments and optimal client journeys, while

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in insolvency as a client facing advisor.
• Familiarity with Division I Proposals and insolvency engagements.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound calls from potential clients to determine if bankruptcy or consumer proposal is right.
• Work with a boutique service team for high income tax debt or high unsecured debt.
• Assisting with negotiations of complex filings between client and creditors.
• Meeting and exceeding performance metrics and conversion rates.
• Creating a superior customer experience with empathy while guiding clients through options.
• Preparing regulatory documents for bankruptcy or proposal filings when applicable.
• Arranging final meetings and coordinating with Farber Administration to resolve issues.
• Cultivating relationships with external referrals and lead sources.
