Job summary

Farber Group in Canada is seeking a Senior Insolvency Advisor for the Complex Files Team. You will speak with potential clients to resolve debt via bankruptcy or proposals, focusing on high-income tax debt cases.

Location is preferably hybrid (GTA) with remote across Canada. Employment is permanent/full-time; salary is $70,000-$80,000 plus bonus, joining a values-driven team dedicated to compassionate debt solutions.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with insolvency engagements including Division I Proposals is a plus.
• Interest in pursuing CIRP designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial needs and determine bankruptcy or proposal suitability.
• Collaborate with professionals for high-income tax debt cases.
• Negotiate complex filings between clients and creditors.
• Meet and exceed performance metrics for conversions.
• Provide empathetic client service and clear guidance through options.
• Prepare regulatory documents for filing bankruptcy or proposal.
• Maintain knowledge of insolvency regulations and processes.
