Job summary

Houle Electric in Victoria, BC, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role. You will support customer environments, deploy and troubleshoot hardware/software, and maintain documentation while ensuring service levels and client communication are top priorities.

This position requires strong VPN/network knowledge, Azure administration, Windows Server 2016-2022, and macOS support. Expect a collaborative, customer‑facing environment with paid holidays and cross‑national work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant IT role.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security.
• Microsoft 365 expertise including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Intune and RMM platforms experience.
• Networking knowledge: routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
• Visit customer locations to diagnose faults and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via ticketing system.
• Provide timely updates and maintain service levels.
• Escalate critical issues to Management when necessary.
• Document work and maintain up-to-date service tickets.
