Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Human Factors Engineer to drive HF/ergonomics work packages for nuclear projects in Canada. You will lead and deliver HF programs, analyses and interface designs, ensuring compliance with REGDOC and CNSC standards.

The role requires extensive HF expertise, a PE license preferred, and experience in regulated industries. A hybrid work model and competitive compensation are offered in Canada.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, HF & Ergonomics or related field.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages and manage technical delivery to project programs.
• Develop HF Engineering Program Plans per REGDOC-2.5.1 and CSA N290.12.
• Develop HF Verification and Validation plans per CNSC REGDOC 2.5.1.
• Conduct Human Factor Function and Task analysis.
• Prepare Human-System interface design.
• Conduct usability testing and validation exercises.
• Perform Workload analysis and other HFE methods as required.
