Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga seeks a Senior Human Factors Engineer to lead HF and ergonomics work packages, managing technical delivery to project programs and contributing to bids and initiatives.

You will develop Human Factors Program Plans per REGDOC-2.5.1 and CSA N290.12, conduct function and task analyses, prepare human-system interface designs, and perform usability testing and workload analyses in high-hazard settings.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, HF & Ergonomics or Applied Psychology; PE license preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in applying HF methods in high-hazard industries.
• Experience delivering HF work packages and managing HF delivery in projects.
• Knowledge of REGDOC-2.5.1, CSA N290.12, and safety-case concepts.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HF and ergonomics work packages and ensure technical delivery to programs.
• Develop HF Program Plans and verification/validation plans per REGDOC 2.5.1.
• Conduct function and task analyses and usability testing.
• Prepare human-system interface designs and training needs analysis.
