Job summary

Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp. is seeking a senior HSE leader to drive health, safety and environmental programs across multiple sites. You will ensure regulatory compliance, protect employees and assets, and align with the Mondelēz HSE system.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Engineering and Quality to embed best practices daily. You will lead and mentor the HSE team, manage audits, incident investigations, and KPI monitoring, and advance a proactive

Qualifications

• A 4-year university degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in an industrial setting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ senior level management experience within a safety discipline.
• CSP, CHMM, CRSP or CHSC certification.
• Strong leadership and critical thinking to influence safety culture and achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience developing and implementing processes, policies and procedures for safety.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of CSA standards and Canadian regulations; proficiency in MS Office and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee consistent HSE programs across assigned sites with emphasis on regulatory compliance and MDLZ HSE standards.
• Create and manage project plans related to strategic objectives including change management, capital projects, and other HSE initiatives.
• Manage project dashboards and present updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver training and coaching to HSE Managers, Specialists, Coordinators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead and develop HSE team via feedback and formal evaluations to meet objectives.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement activities and safety initiatives.
• Oversee reporting into Enablon and ensure timely, accurate data entry.
• Support incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor injury trends and drive KPI improvements.
• Conduct audits and inspections on the production floor for compliance.
• Participate in Mondelez HSE cross-assessments to become a qualified assessor.
• Coordinate with Legal for reporting to regulatory agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Engineering, Sanitation and Quality to integrate HSE best practices.
• Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement across G&G and MDLZ networks.
