Job summary

Clutch Canada is building a premier Health, Safety & Environment function from the ground up. You will own the HSE mandate for a high-growth, multi-site operation, designing systems, shaping culture, and protecting workers across our national footprint.

You will translate audit findings into sustainable programs and lead the implementation of a Safety Management System. The role reports to the Director of People Operations and requires a senior HSE expert to advise Operations and ensure

Qualifications

5–10 years of progressive HSE experience with multi-site or national exposure.
CRSP designation preferred; CHSC or equivalent considered.
Strong knowledge of Canadian OHS legislation across multiple provinces.
Experience building or maturing an HSE management system, not just maintaining one.
On-site presence at Mississauga facility is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement a national HSE framework across production and logistics sites.
Define governance cadence with monthly reviews and annual management system audits.
Own hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation programs.
Oversee regulatory compliance, audits, and interactions with inspectors and authorities.
Develop training matrices and roll out safety programs and leadership training.
