Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Senior Analyst, HRIS to lead SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and provide technical leadership for our HRIS landscape. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable HRIS solutions and drive improvements across Compensation and Employee Central.

The role demands 7+ years of HRIS experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors, BI tools, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
• Experience with Compensation, Benefits and Employee Central is preferred
• Strong understanding of compensation processes and HR data
• Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI or other analytics tools
• Experience with HRIS integrations, APIs/OData, and SAP CPI/Integration Suite is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• SAP SuccessFactors certification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
• Support annual compensation processes, including merit, bonus, incentive plans, eligibility, calculations, and compensation statements
• Maintain Employee Central benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, enrollments, and open enrollment processes
• Analyze complex HR and compensation data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop advanced reporting and dashboards using SuccessFactors reporting tools, Excel, and Power BI
• Translate business requirements into scalable HRIS solutions, coordinating testing, troubleshooting, enhancements, and releases across SuccessFactors
• Support integrations between SuccessFactors, Payroll, Finance, and other enterprise systems, including SAP Integration Suite / CPI
• Establish data-quality, security, governance, and audit controls
• Lead HRIS projects and provide technical guidance to HR, IT, and business stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve HRIS efficiency
