Job summary

Service New Brunswick’s Department of Health, Office of Digital Health seeks a seasoned BEA-3 to expand the Drug Information System and other digital health initiatives. You will drive enterprise and solution architecture, guide technical design, and collaborate with SNB, RHAs, vendors, and project teams.

The candidate will lead architectural deliverables, ensure standards alignment, and mentor staff, while navigating complex healthcare integration projects in a government setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 15+ years IM/IT experience with senior architecture emphasis.
• 10+ years as Lead Solution Architect on large-scale projects.
• Health IT background and eHealth integration experience.
• Experience with DIS and health information standards.
• Strong English communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture deliverables for DIS expansion and health integration.
• Provide architecture guidance to project and operational teams.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture goals and standards.
• Lead design sessions and requirements gathering with stakeholders.
• Develop messaging specs and vendor implementation guides.
• Mentor technical staff and ensure long-term maintainability.
