Job summary

US Tech Solutions invites a seasoned Solution Architect (BEA-3) to join the Office of Digital Health in Fredericton, NB. You will lead architecture, design, integration, and technical governance for the Drug Information System (DIS) and related Digital Health initiatives.

Collaborate with RHAs, vendors, and project teams to ensure solutions meet DH standards and strategic objectives, providing mentoring and guidance to architecture and engineering staff.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 15 years of Information Management / IT experience.
• Minimum 10 years as Lead Solution Architect on medium-to-large system development or healthcare integration projects within the last 15 years.
• Experience with complex projects across multiple business units, with more than 8 direct participants and durations over 9 months.
• Must be available to work in Fredericton, NB.
• Health Insurance experience alone does not qualify for the required Solution Architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture deliverables for the expansion of the Drug Information System (DIS).
• Support integration of Public Health Information solutions with Community Pharmacy systems and other DH applications.
• Provide solution strategy and technical design guidance to project and operational teams.
• Assist in defining solution requirements, architecture standards, and guiding principles.
• Review project deliverables and provide technical/architectural feedback.
• Participate in project Stage Gates and architecture governance activities.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with Department of Health standards and Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Develop Vendor Implementation Guides for integration solutions.
• Support the planning and implementation of integration solutions.
• Collaborate regularly with SNB, vendors, RHAs, and other technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to architecture and engineering teams.
• Support additional Digital Health and eHealth initiatives as assigned.
