Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an on-site Construction/Transit Supervisor in Canada to manage civil, architectural, MEP works and coordinate with foremen, subcontractors and the superintendent to meet schedules.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, 3–5 years in transit project supervision, knowledge of TTC/Metrolinx specs, and proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related fields accepted.
• Minimum 3–5 years in construction management or supervision for transit stations.
• Experience with TTC and Metrolinx specifications is a plus.
• Knowledge of Civil, Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings.
• Proficient in project management software and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising on-site construction activities across civil, foundations, structural steel, concrete, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
• Coordinate daily operations with the superintendent, contractors and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure conformance to specifications, standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise foremen and crews; verify manpower and equipment needs for performance.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and safety documentation.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and environmental guidelines.
• Support production planning and progress reviews with the Superintendent.
