Job summary

Article, a Vancouver-headquartered furniture company, seeks a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing. You will connect global category strategy to regional execution, maximize margins, and lead sourcing operations across North America and Vietnam.

The role requires 8+ years in global sourcing, matrixed-team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with hybrid work in Vancouver (3 days in-office, 2 remote). You will drive regional diversification and supplier performance for robust supply chains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive sourcing experience in global strategic sourcing, retail procurement, or end-to-end supply chain leadership.
• Retail furniture or high-velocity apparel experience is heavily preferred.
• Proven track record of executing supply footprint transformations and multi-regional risk mitigation.
• Experience in a matrixed organization with cross-functional collaboration across Design, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction as SPOC for cross-functional sourcing strategies across regions.
• Lead cost governance, negotiations, and BOM visibility for better decision-making.
• Architect regional supply base diversification to buffer against disruption and de-risk the portfolio.
• Provide leadership to in-region back-office execution teams and unblock regional bottlenecks during North American business hours.
• Own supplier performance metrics including OTIF, total landed cost, and COPQ.
