Job summary

ThoughtStorm in Toronto is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, test and deliver enterprise applications. You will work across Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5 and RESTful APIs to build scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Azure experience, including Azure SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL and CI/CD pipelines, plus familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Portal/Survey123 and APIM. Agile collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing and delivering enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot 2.5+, Angular 2+, HTML5 and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines and CI/CD.
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure App Service Plans and Java backend development.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Portal/Survey123 and RESTful API integration with ESRI.
• 1+ year of Java development experience supporting soil management/agricultural systems.
• Experience with APIM, application configuration, technical design, unit testing and release deployments.
• Knowledge of AODA, secure software development, privacy and OPS/I&ITS standards.
• Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and providing solution/design recommendations.
