Job summary

You will design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications, build RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable software with strong security and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications and services.

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, monitoring, and production releases.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering standards and development processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, APIs, databases, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications and services.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and database performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, unit testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of application security, logging, monitoring, and production support.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
