Job summary

Teckhorizon Inc is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to advance the Ontario Agricultural Soil Information System (OASIS). The role focuses on Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft Azure to deliver enterprise-grade web solutions.

You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend and frontend components, integrate ESRI ArcGIS Portal and Survey123, work in an Agile environment, and ensure security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack Java application development experience.
• 1+ year of experience developing and implementing Java solutions for soil management systems.
• Proficiency with Java/JEE, Spring Boot 2.5+, Angular 2+, HTML5, RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating ESRI ArcGIS Portal, Survey123, and geospatial services.
• Microsoft Azure development experience and Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, and RESTful APIs.
• Develop scalable Java-based backend services and integrations within Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement integrations with ESRI ArcGIS Portal, Survey123, and geospatial services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into detailed technical designs and production-ready solutions.
• Develop programming specifications, application components, configurations, and customizations.
• Build and manage application releases and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and quality assurance activities.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment.
• Ensure applications meet security, privacy, accessibility, and government technology standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, analysts, and project teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
