Job summary

Svante is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A and Corporate Development teams in Burnaby, BC. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, partnering with leaders across functions to translate data into actionable business insights.

You have 5–8 years of corporate FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and hands-on CPM tools experience (TM1, Cognos, Adaptive Insights, or Vena). Based in the Greater Vancouver Area, you will work from the office as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience within a Corporate FP&A or similar function
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a quantitative discipline
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building complex financial models
• Experience with CPM tools such as TM1, Cognos, Adaptive Insights, or Vena
• Experience with Power BI or equivalent analytics platforms for KPI/operational reports

Responsibilities

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis processes
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards for management review
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and other functions to improve data ecosystem and reporting
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting and planning processes
