Who We Are

Terrion is a Canadian company that believes in building secure, sustainable, and future‑ready connectivity across our nation. We are catalysts for the digital economy, creating dynamic foundations that empower connections through cutting‑edge cellular tower technology and relentless innovation. Working in close partnership with municipalities, provinces, regulators, and customers, we deliver communications infrastructure that supports vibrant communities and drives economic growth.

Founded through the investments of a world class telecom and pension partner, we are a mission‑driven company building the wireless networks of the future - towers, rooftops, and edge assets that power connectivity. The fusion of a bold, entrepreneurial spirit with the strategic maturity of industry veterans fuels our bold ambition. We're that team who passionately believes that collaboration sparks innovation, agility drives progress, and ownership ensures accountability. Amazing possibilities come to life, making success unstoppable.

Our team and what we'll accomplish together

Join the Finance team at Terrion during one of the most exciting periods in Canadian telecom infrastructure history. As a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be the architect of Terrion's site‑level financial intelligence, building a comprehensive, driver‑based profitability model that tracks every tower from initial acquisition through lease‑up and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to leverage cutting‑edge AI and automation tools to create scalable financial infrastructure that drives real business impact. You'll work cross‑functionally with Real Estate, Engineering, IT, and Strategy teams to transform how we evaluate, build, and optimize our infrastructure investments.

What you'll do
  • Drive automation and eliminate manual processes by leveraging AI tools (Gemini, Python, LLMs) to streamline data cleaning, reconciliation, and financial workflows
  • Establish data pipelines that integrate SAP and Sitetracker systems, creating a single source of truth for site‑level financial and operational data
  • Build a comprehensive site‑level profitability model from the ground up, tracking the complete tower lifecycle from acquisition through construction, lease‑up, modifications, and ongoing operations
  • Create executive dashboards and real‑time analytics using PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker that visualize site economics, portfolio performance, and profitability drivers
  • Support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes with accurate reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts with detailed variance analysis, risks and opportunities assessment, and performance trending
  • Lead financial analysis for strategic decisions including site acquisitions, build vs. acquire evaluations, modification investments, and portfolio optimization initiatives
  • Support board communications including IFRS‑compliant financial statements and quarterly presentations that communicate complex site economics clearly
  • Partner with Real Estate, Engineering, Commercial, IT, and Strategy teams to deliver insights on site economics and portfolio trends through business reviews
  • Establish best practices for site financial tracking, KPI definitions, and performance benchmarking to drive continuous improvement

What you bring

  • CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in infrastructure, real estate, telecommunications, or asset‑intensive industries
  • Proven experience using AI tools (Gemini, LLMs, Python scripts) to automate financial workflows, data cleaning, and reconciliation processes
  • Strong technical skills including SQL or Python for data manipulation, advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, and experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise with demonstrated ability to build complex, driver‑based models that track asset‑level economics across multiple lifecycle stages
  • SAP or ERP system experience with ability to extract, transform, and integrate financial data from enterprise systems into analytical models
  • Entrepreneurial problem‑solver who thrives in ambiguous, fast‑paced startup environments and can build solutions from the ground up with minimal direction
  • Collaborative partnership skills with ability to work cross‑functionally to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions
  • Exceptional communication abilities, translating complex financial models into clear executive presentations and compelling business narratives

Great‑to‑haves

  • Infrastructure or real estate finance experience with knowledge of tower economics, lease structures, or asset‑level profitability modeling
  • Strong IFRS accounting knowledge with experience in financial statement preparation and lease accounting (IFRS 16)
  • Experience with site/asset tracking systems, project management platforms, or construction/real estate industry tools
