Job summary

BGIS Edmonton is seeking an Operations Manager to provide leadership across facilities, portfolios, and service delivery teams. You will ensure safe, compliant, efficient, technology-enabled services while maintaining strong financial controls and client focus.

The role leads Facility Managers and teams to achieve safety standards, reliability, and client commitments. The position requires strategic oversight, contract management, and continuous improvement, with a focus on asset reliability,

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, engineering, or related field.
• FMA, RPA, IFMA designations are assets.
• Experience managing multi-site portfolios and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and safety programs.
• Experience with financial reporting and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across facilities management, operations, and service delivery teams.
• Oversee safety compliance, risk management, and environmental programs.
• Manage contracts, budgets, forecasts, and client relationships; ensure SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely maintenance, outages, and service restoration.
• Drive continuous improvement through technology, data analytics, and process standardization.
