Job summary

HighView Partners' client, an established Canadian real estate services firm, is seeking a Building Operations Leader for an Edmonton industrial portfolio. Based on-site, you will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor a technical team, and travel between properties while delivering reliable tenant service.

You will promote preventive maintenance, support capital planning, oversee maintenance and tenant improvements, manage contractors, inspections and safety initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of commercial building operations experience including leading a technical team.
• Certified 5th Class Power Engineer is required; 4th Class is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for an Edmonton multi-building portfolio.
• Lead and mentor Building Operators and coordinate coverage.
• Promote preventive maintenance and troubleshoot building-system issues.
• Contribute to capital planning and oversee maintenance, capital, and tenant improvement projects.
• Monitor work orders, manage contractors, conduct inspections and support health and safety initiatives across the region.
