Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Facility Manager III to ensure operations of client facilities across Canada, delivering cost-effective, safe and efficient management under the Statement of Work. You will be BGIS’s primary contact with the client and tenants, guiding performance and day-to-day contract execution with a strong client focus.

You will supervise facilities teams, manage budgets, oversee RFPs and contract bids, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites with high customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years in a property/facility management environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be single point of contact for a portfolio of properties and all facility-related requests.
• Manage client relationships and provide proactive communications.
• Develop budgets (O&M, rents, capex) and defend logic to leadership.
• Oversee sub-contracts: tender, negotiate terms, monitor performance.
• Coordinate with internal and client teams to deliver timely, cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with building standards, codes, safety and environmental policies.
