Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Facility Services Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, vendor management, and service delivery for client accounts. The role includes data verification, reporting, and process improvements, collaborating across BGIS departments to support integrated building operations.

Requires 3–5 years in facility or vendor management, strong MS Excel/Power BI proficiency, and excellent communication. Regular full-time position in Canada with a salary range based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facility Management or Vendor Management.
• Demonstrated organizational, project planning and management skills.
• Technical writing skills.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Good training and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and dispatch service request work orders to vendors as per established process.
• Review Priority works orders – communicate and follow up on priority orders to vendors and ensure timely completion.
• Review Work Orders – ensure all work orders dispatched are closed out or reassigned as needed.
• Inspect work orders closed by vendors to ensure complete closeout details (cost, equipment tag).
• Run reports on open work orders and check status with vendors.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding workorder issues and to client inquiries about current/past work orders.
• Update system records, addresses, and vendor locations.
• Participate in client reporting and continuous process improvements.
