Job summary

JRoss Hospitality Recruiters is seeking an experienced food and beverage leader for a premier Banff restaurant. The role oversees multiple outlets, drives polished service, and maintains high guest experience in a fast-paced destination setting.

You will lead on-floor service during peak periods, mentor managers, manage labour and financial performance, and partner with culinary and operations leadership to elevate beverage programs and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level food and beverage leadership experience within a complex, multi-outlet operation.
• Experience managing or supporting a business generating approximately $4 million or more in annual revenue.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality, business or related discipline preferred.
• Strong budgeting, profit and loss management, and labour controls experience.
• Sommelier certification or formal wine education is considered an asset.
• ProServe certification (Alberta) or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day F&B operations across multiple outlets and concepts.
• Provide visible hands-on floor leadership during peak periods and transitions.
• Ensure continuity of service and guest experience during leadership coverage gaps.
• Develop onboarding and training programs for F&B managers.
• Coach and develop Assistant Managers and F&B Managers.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management of leadership.
• Guide labour planning, scheduling, payroll practices and time-off planning.
• Improve labour productivity and align staffing with volumes and events.
• Oversee budgeting, financial controls and P&L performance.
• Lead menu engineering and collaborate on beverage programming and new concepts.
• Support rollout of new F&B applications and takeout programs.
• Maintain strong written/verbal communication with F&B teams and leadership.
