Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Canadian events, including CA Roadshows and Xerocon. You will partner with marketing and sales teams, manage multi-workstream events, and ensure ROI through post-event analysis.

You will steer event concepts, budgets, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional execution, influencing stakeholders and mentoring teams to raise event standards while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Proven track record of managing complex budgets for events.
• Experience analyzing event performance data and translating learnings into strategy.
• End-to-end event management experience across marketing projects and delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and end-to-end execution of Xero-led and sponsored events in Canada.
• Manage budgets, venue selection, vendor contracts, and on-site delivery across workstreams.
• Provide post-event analytics, ROI insights, and recommendations to improve future events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, sales, legal, and finance teams.
