Job summary

In case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the **impacts we've made to the communities we work in**and our latest **Impact Report****,** highlighting how we're putting our values into practice in areas such as the climate & environment, inclusive diversity, indigenous relations, and health and safety. ## **You as a Senior Estimator - CSA will:*** Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure.* Be responsible for accurate, timely and well-organized pre-construction estimate preparation for budget and guaranteed maximum price submissions as well as design build and stipulated price estimate submissions for major projects.* Develop scopes of work for subcontractors to provide budgeting assistance.* Analyze sub-contractor bids for irregularities and ensure the full scope of work is included.* Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process.* Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities.* Identify and propose project risk and cost mitigation strategies as well as the potential for opportunities and cost savings.* Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price.* Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing and project costs, for future reference.* Review drawings and tender documents to understand scope of work and submission requirements.* Effectively determine the bid strategies required on each project for the company to be successful.* Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
