Job summary

Scotia Leasing in Winnipeg is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to market and sell equipment finance products to commercial banking clients. You will negotiate, structure and price leases, while influencing branch teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires travel to support direct sales and partnership with CRM/CSM to present proposals and ensure credit readiness. University degree is required.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of equipment finance and leasing including accounting and taxation.
• Strong ability to read financial statements and perform credit analysis.
• Interpersonal skills to work with CFOs, Directors, CRM/CSM and internal banking staff.
• Ability to negotiate and structure leases addressing risks and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acquire profitable equipment finance and lease transactions for Scotia Leasing.
• Identify prospects and maintain an aggressive calling program in the area.
• Negotiate and structure leases meeting accounting, tax and credit criteria.
• Influence branches and banking centres to quote and win business.
• Maintain call activity, pipeline and monthly/quarterly sales reporting.
