Job summary

Pinchin Canada seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to oversee regulatory and due diligence projects across Ontario, including Tilbury. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and advance client relationships, aiming to become principal contact for key accounts.

You will report to the Operations Manager and prepare proposals, guide Phase I/II ESAs, and support business development while mentoring junior staff and delivering high-quality technical reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  • A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is not required, but is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience within environmental consulting, at least 3 of which should be in a project management position.
  • Experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence purposes, including the completion of soil vapour assessments and indoor air quality assessments.
  • Experience with conducting Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04
  • Working knowledge of O. Reg. 406/19 (Excess Soil Management)
  • Experience with conducting underground storage tank removal programs and/or remedial excavations in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04
  • Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management
  • Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
  • Strong communication skills & professional presentation
  • Strong writing skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of regulatory and due diligence projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Communicate with clients and understand project requirements.
  • Prepare proposals for new and existing clients.
  • Perform senior technical reviews of regulatory and due diligence submissions.
  • Participate with Marketing to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff to develop leadership capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing At Pinchin

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team
