Pinchin Ltd is seeking a Project Technologist for the Environmental Due Diligence team in Regina. The role focuses on Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, and reporting to support property transactions and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in environmental science or engineering, strong writing and communication skills, and a willingness to travel across Saskatchewan. A driver’s license and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in environmental science or engineering is required or preferred.
  • Experience in environmental consulting is an asset that strengthens candidacy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong technical writing skills are expected.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for team collaboration and client interaction.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and personal vehicle are required for travel.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Saskatchewan and occasional after-hours work is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Conduct groundwater monitoring, sampling, surveying, and site plan creation.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide remediation/recommendation input.
  • Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to meet timeline and budget.
  • Work both independently and in a team; liaise with site representatives and contractors.

Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence team in Regina. The role reports to the Team Leader.

Role Overview

The Project Technologist, Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation (EDR), supports a wide range of environmental assessment and remediation projects related to property transactions, redevelopment, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with Project Managers and senior technical staff to deliver Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, support Record of Site Condition (RSC) work, and assist with remediation and monitoring programs across Ontario.

Your Role and Action
  • Perform Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling programs, surveying and Site plan creation
  • Prepare technical reports and assist with determining appropriate recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with project coordinators/managers to ensure projects are completed within the given timeline and budget
  • Work in both a self-lead and team environment
  • Liaise with site representatives and contractors

  • A degree or diploma in a related discipline, preferably in environmental science or engineering
  • Experience in environmental consulting will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to travel for work throughout Saskatchewan
  • Availability to occasional work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
  • Availability to use handheld tools such as pumps, hand augers, hammer drill, etc. to complete field activities
