Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a senior geoscience leader to guide multidisciplinary environmental teams across Northern Ontario. You’ll direct environmental assessments, remediation programs, risk assessments, and long-term environmental strategies to support responsible mining, energy, infrastructure, and resources projects.

With 15–20+ years of experience, you will mentor staff, influence clients, and drive growth while partnering with Indigenous Nations and regulators. Ontario P.Geo./P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Geo-Environmental Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering with hands-on leadership of major environmental programs.
• Registration as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Ontario, and recognition as a Qualified Person (QP) under O.Reg. 153/04.
• 15-20+ years of progressive experience in environmental engineering or geoscience, including senior oversight of major multidisciplinary projects in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership across environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment programs.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver complex environmental projects impacting communities and development.
• Mentor and develop talent across the Environmental business and strengthen client relationships.
