Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Geo‑Environmental Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering with hands‑on leadership of major environmental programs.
• Registration as P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Ontario and as a Qualified Person under O.Reg. 153/04.
• 15–20+ years of progressive environmental engineering or geoscience experience, overseeing multidisciplinary projects in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
• Advanced expertise in site assessment, contaminated sites, remediation, risk assessment, and emerging contaminants.
• A strong seller‑doer track record with long‑term client relationships and growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership across environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk programs with regulatory compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering complex projects influencing planning, land development, infrastructure, and sustainability.
• Mentor talent across Environmental business, strengthening succession and technical excellence.
• Advise executive leadership, partners, and major clients on environmental risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Drive innovation through new methodologies, standards, and best practices in environmental engineering and geoscience.
• Represent WSP in industry associations, conferences, and technical committees; expand cross‑geography service offerings.
• Oversee pursuits with seller‑doer approach, strategy, proposals, and pipeline forecasting.
